Freelancing

I work in a life and health insurance company as an agent selling insurance policies for my own account, as the company gives me commission towards selling the policies. My visa is not on the said company since I work as a freelancer. Two months ago, a dispute arose between me and the company as they have not paid my commission for one year. I told them that I would file a complaint before the Ministry of Labour to claim my right but they said that I may not file a complaint before the Ministry of Labour since I am not on the company’s sponsorship, and if I file such complaint I will be in trouble for working with a non-sponsor. My question is; how can I get my rights from such company? Does this mean that I lost my rights and since my visa is not on the said company?

The questioner shall file a civil case not a labour case before the competent civil court against the insurance company to claim all his rights, the said court in return will consider the questioner’s rights and this has nothing to do with the questioner’s visa with the said company.
