Dubai: If you’re planning on having a barbeque or a picnic, this weekend would be the best time to have one as the temperature this weekend will be a lot cooler.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) on Thursday expects the mercury to drop from Thursday to Saturday, with a gradual rise from Sunday to Monday.
However, weathermen also warned of wind speeds of up to 50kph kicking up to 10-foot waves, and advised the public to avoid going out to the sea.

Weather forecasters at the NCMS also warned of strong northwesterly winds in coastal areas over the next two days, which will see wind speeds from 40 to 50kph in coastal areas.
The waves in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will also reach up to 10 feet high.

The temperature until Saturday will remain in the mid-30s in the coastal and internal areas, while the mountain region will be slightly cooler with a maximum of 27 degrees Celsius.
The level of humidity will also continue through the weekend will peak from 70 to 95 per cent in the coastal and internal areas, with the mountain region will have a range of humidity from 35 to 55 per cent.
The NCMS said that the strong winds will especially affect the sea, causing dust and sand to blow over open land areas and reduce visibility on the roads.
By Saturday night, weather forecasters expect the wind to subdue and by Sunday morning, fog and mist will once again form over parts of the UAE as the temperature and humidity rises once again.
