Abu Dhabi: Her Highness Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairperson of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairperson of the Family Development Foundation and Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, has sponsored the families of two Palestinian paramedics working at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, who were killed doing their duty.

Shaikha Fatima tasked the Emirates Red Crescent Authority to follow up on their needs.

Ayid Al Buraei, 24, was married with two children, a one-year-old girl and a three-month-old boy. Mohammad Al Abadila, 28, was the father of a one-year-old boy.

Both men were killed by gun shots in Qarara district.

The UAE continues sending aid to Palestinians in Gaza through Rafah in Egypt.

It also has a special air bridge through Jordan.

A sum of $25 million for urgent humanitarian aid has also been allocated for the support of the Palestinian people.

The Emirates Red Crescent Authority has also signed an agreement with UNRWA for rebuilding Gaza. A sum of Dh150 million has been allocated to the project.

The UAE is providing support to the Palestinian people since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in line with the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
