Abu Dhabi: The UAE is pressing ahead with its open approach and firm principles based on tolerance and coexistence, said His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
In a series of tweets on the occasion of International Tolerance Day, Shaikh Mohammad wrote, “On Tolerance Day, we remember the immortal humanitarian legacy of the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, which carried our values and principles that are still developing, growing and leading our initiatives and plans.”
The UAE has believed in the importance of establishing values of coexistence and tolerance until it has become a unique role model and home for love, by which all hearts and minds are unified, Shaikh Mohammad added.
He noted that the UAE converted pluralism and cultural diversity, which it embraces, into significant investments and value, adding to growth, advancement and prosperity.
“The UAE will always be a tolerant and loving country as this is its fate and approach, which was earlier set by the founding fathers, as well as its cultural heritage that we will build on together,” Shaikh Mohammad stressed.
“As the message of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, touched the hearts of all Emiratis through its sublime meanings and values, it has also deepened and rooted the national vision of tolerance,” Shaikh Mohammad concluded.
