Abu Dhabi: Two Emirati men died when the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a truck on the Abu Dhabi-Al Sila road in the Western Region.
According to Brigadier Khalifa Mohammad Mubarak Al Khaili, Head of the Traffic and Road Safety Engineering Department at the Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate, the Pakistani truck driver was attempting to make a turn when the two vehicles collided and burst into flames.
The truck driver was rescued after the blaze was extinguished. The bodies of the deceased were handed over to their families after being prepared for burial.
