Abu Dhabi : Three different road accidents  in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday morning and afternoon caused traffic bottlenecks at least on two roads and police diverted the traffic through alternative routes. 

An accident occurred on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street before Mussafah bridge at around 12.35 pm to-wards Abu Dhabi city, which caused traffic congestions on five lanes, according to a tweet  from De-partment of Municipal Affairs and Transport (DMAT).  The accident site was cleared at around 1.19 pm, but traffic delays remained, DMAT tweeted.

A tweet from Abu Dhabi Police at 12.26pm said traffic was diverted from  Al Ain – Abu Dhabi highway to alternative routes, after a truck broke down  on the highway after Al Maqam traffic signal. Police asked motorists to exercise caution while driving.

DMAT reported another accident around 7am on Sweihan – Abu Dhabi road, before international air-port road exit on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi City, causing traffic bottleneck on the road for a while.
