It happens to us every day from our daily wake-up alarm to our routines. This problem persists within our lives even without us knowing it. Most of us may not realise that procrastination may be due to a lack of interest or rather motivation for the task at hand. It usually happens when our mind gets distracted over a more interesting issue than our task.

We may not feel the effects of procrastination directly but the effect is felt as the deadline of the task gets immensely closer and this leads to the breaking point of a person if continued over a long time. It also leads to regrets over how we could have used our time more effectively than how we wasted it.

There are simple ways about this, however; determination proves to be the most effective solution. Even though it takes quite some time for a person to lose this habit, small tricks such as motivating yourself every day with simple things such as your favourite breakfast option or your favorite clothes keeps you happy and makes you look forward to waking up to a bright new day and to get working on your task. Try to keep distractions away from your work so you can completely focus on the task at hand.

Try rewarding yourself for every task you efficiently complete without regrets and make sure that you are satisfied with your work. Most importantly - plan all your tasks so you can analyse your time and be a more effective time manager. This way you can be a happier person and become better at managing the simple problem of procrastination.
