Dubai: Sunday, December 11, will be a holiday for the public and private sector to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), the Ministry of Human Resource and Emiratisation announced on Wednesday.
Saqr Ghobash, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, made the announcement as per the provisions of Article 74 of the Federal Law No 8 of 1980.
The minister sent his regards to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and their Highnesses, members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the seven emirates.
He wished all citizens and residents in the UAE happiness and prosperity on this occasion and prayed for further progress and wealth to all Arab and Islamic nations.
