Abu Dhabi: Under the patronage of Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and honorary chairman of the Emirates Strategic Planning Association, the association will hold its third annual conference on May 18.
The conference will be held under the title ‘Strategies of happiness and innovation towards 2021 at the Abu Dhabi Federal National Council’s headquarters.
Colonel Mohammad Humaid Bin Dalmouj Al Daheri, general manager of strategy and development of performance at the ministry, said that the idea of the conference comes to support the UAE Vision to become the best country in the world according to themes of citizenship, education, economy, and security and to mobilise all the efforts of government, private and civil community sectors towards this goal.
Dr Sarhan Al Maini, member of the association’s board of directors, pointed out that due to the importance of advanced strategic planning in both the public and private sectors, the association was set up to achieve a number of goals embodied in instilling the culture of strategic planning across the community, especially in areas related to the future of the country in political, economic, social, and cultural fields, while offering technical advice and backing the strategic planning system in the country.
