Dubai: More than 500 people are expected to participate in the second Capoeira Tournament to be held in Dubai from November 27-29. Often called a game that is played and not fought, Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art performed by two people combining elements of fight, acrobatics, music, dance and rituals in a very elegant and magnetic way. The three-day tournament organised by the Lagoa Azul Dubai Group, will also feature the Batizado Ceremony, an event which signifies the exchange of the ropes for students who are new to Capoeira or who have been practising it for some time. For more information on the tournament, call Vladimir (056-1140256) or email Vladimir.cirilo@gmail.com or Facebook at https://m.facebook.com/Lagoaazuldubai.
