Dubai: David Marnane has been one of the most supportive and successful international trainers at the Dubai Carnival with six winners and more than 30 placed runners over the years.
McGettigans, a name synonymous with entertainment and horse racing, have joined forces with David Marnane Racing, to establish an expert and innovative panel of experts that will speak on the $30million Dubai World Cup meeting.
Royal Ascot and Cheltenham do it and now Meydan too.
Entry is Free and there will lots of chances to win prizes donated by Godolphin as well as the hosts.
They constitute a serious line up of horse racing experts with a world of knowledge.
Representatives of David Marnane Racing and McGettigans will be on hand to “meet and greet” and they will be hoping this is the first of many such nights allowing us to become better informed about the horses and hear some snippets of information we would not usually be exposed to.
Both evenings are certain to provide loads of entertainment to set us up for Saturday afternoon at Meydan.
The panels include Gary O Brien — Irelands Voice of Racing, Laura King- Dubai Racing Channel, Pat Cummins — Hong Kong Racing, Martin Harley — Group 1 winning jockey, and
Stephen Molyneux — Dubai Racing Channel on March 22 (at McGettingans Trade Centre) and Rishi Pershad — Leading Racing Commentator, Colm O Donoghue — World Class Jockey, Kieran Fallon — 6 times British Champion jockey, Geoffrey Riddle — International Racing Journalist and Terry Spargo — Dubai’s Voice of Racing (McGettigans, Bonnington Hotel, JLT). Both sessions begin at 7.30pm.
