Swiss tennis star Roger Federer beat Briton Andy Murray to win his fifth successive US Open and 13th Grand Slam title on Monday.
New York: Swiss tennis star Roger Federer beat Briton Andy Murray to win his fifth successive US Open and 13th Grand Slam title on Monday.
The second seed breezed through a straight sets victory beating Murray 6-2 7-5 6-2 in one hour 51 minutes.
With this latest win, Federer inched closer to American champion Pete Sampras' record of 14 Grand Slams.
