Team manager Peter Wright, the former Scotland prop and a British and Irish Lion in 1993, is at the sevens checking out facilities and pitches ahead of the tournament which is due to take place from April 4-21.
Jason White, the current Scotland captain, also dropped in on the tournament while taking a holiday in Dubai.
