Newly-crowned Arabian Gulf League Champions Dubai Dragons will be eyeing a trophy double when they entertain Abu Dhabi in the Gulf Cup semifinals at 7.30pm today.

Mick Zaicek's side completed their league programme last weekend with a 33-3 defeat of Doha to stretch their 100 per cent record to 13 matches.

And the Dragons will now be keen to take another big step forward as they continue their defence of the cup.

At stake is a place in the final, and that too against Dubai Dragons' second XV who have surpassed all expectations to qualify for the play-off.

The Dragons' first XV will welcome back a raft of players who last weekend represented the Arabian Gulf in a dramatic 14-13 defeat of Kazakhstan, although No. 8 David Clark, who claimed the winning try in the final seconds, is not available. Try scorers in the defeat of Doha were Ian Jones, Vivian Albertyn, Sean Hurley, Diarmuid O'Malley and Dushan Raveenderum while John Mamea Wilson added four conversions.

Dubai Dragons squad:
Matt Seale, Vivian Albertyn, Hugh Flanagan, Will Wood, Mick Zaicek, Andrew MacFarlane, Bede Higgins, Dan Talbot, Adrian Kerr, Sebastian Mouchet, Jamie Turner, John Mamea, Paul Austin, Iutoi Taufaufi, Nicoli Demarco.
