Dubai: Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao is settling into UAE life so much he’s even taken to wearing the country’s national dress.
Pacman and wife Jinkee appeared in an Instagram post on Saturday with the caption: “I’m wearing the national outfit for men here in Dubai. Of course my wife looking beautiful as always,” he added before signing off with a smiley face.

The couple were heading down to Abu Dhabi for an event at Yas Marina Circuit in support of Rahma, a charity that provides psychological and practical advice to cancer sufferers.
It followed his brief appearance for Mahindra Enforcers on Friday night in their 98-94 defeat to the Alaska Aces in a Philippines Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup tie at Al Wasl Club.
Pacquiao played just six minutes and 55 seconds of the first quarter, failing to score in four attempts, two either side of the three point line. He also committed two turnovers and made no assists or rebounds.
The Pacquiaos leave the UAE on Sunday having been in the emirates for a week. Primarily here for his team’s PBA game, the former eight division world boxing champion is also rumoured to have discussed the prospect of staging his next fight in the emirate with local sports authorities.
The 36-year-old is currently out of action until March 2016 following a shoulder injury sustained during his points defeat to Floyd Mayweather Junior in May 2015.
But he will have time for one last fight before hanging up his gloves and turning to politics ahead of the Philippines general election in May 2016 where he is running for senator.
The question is could the national dress have just clinched the deal?
