Dubai: One little postcard buried in the sacks of mail delivered to Gulf News came from Beijing.
Not your typical holiday greetings with a tacky view of the Great Wall, but one with the Olympic seal.
Swimmer Sara Isakovic, who won an Olympic silver medal in the women's 200m freestyle last Wednesday, penned a postcard to Gulf News Senior Reporter Alaric Gomes, thanking him for helping her dreams come true.
"Dear Alaric, thank you for supporting me making my dreams come through," Sara wrote in her short but heartfelt greeting.
Hopefully, the next postcard we receive from Sara will be a golden one!
