Dubai: After successfully defending his WBO welterweight title fight with a convincing unanimous decision over Joshua Clottey in Texas, pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao is now poised to visit Dubai next month to support his brother Bobby in a fight card at the Dubai Tennis Stadium.

Dubbed ‘Philippines vs. Rest of the World,’ the Dubai card will be held on April 9 featuring some of the top Filipino boxers.
"Manny will be here during the fight. He will be here for two days. He's the special guest for the event," Zack Taumafai, owner of KO Promotions, the Dubai-based company that is co-promoting the event with Philippine-based ALA Promotions, told Gulf News.
The boxing extravaganza will be headlined by two prize fighters from the Philippines' famed ALA Boxing Club and former world title contender Rey Bautista and highly ranked mini-flyweight Milan Melindo.
Bobby Pacquiao and Jason Pagara complete the Philippine contingent.
Their opponents have yet to be announced.
"We are excited to be in Dubai and meet the Filipino fans and non-Filipino fans of Manny," said Noy Neri, one of Pacman's assistant trainers, in a separate interview from Texas.
