Emirates NBD to back sports in the UAE
Bank's commitment to athletes will continue, top official tells Gulf News

Dubai: A top official from sponsors Emirates NBD has reiterated his belief that the backing from his bank will pay dividends in preparing top athletes for the country in the near future.
"It is with this belief that we have been backing several sporting and social events all over the UAE," Saif Al Mansouri, Deputy Head of Group Marketing and Branding, Emirates NBD told Gulf News.
"It would be a proud moment for us to see one of our UAE swimmers go to the podium or reach the finals when the 10th Fina World Swimming Championships (25m) starts [tomorrow]. We will truly be honoured as we would count ourselves as one of the partners responsible for his success," Al Mansouri added. From promoting art, culture and heritage through various initiatives, Emirates NBD has backed sporting events like last week's Dubai Ladies Masters golf along with this week's Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge and the Fina Championships to be held from December 15-19.
