Beach Rotana to host squash tournament
The Abu Dhabi Open Squash Champions will be held at the Beach Rotana Squash Courts from May 18 onwards
Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Open Squash Champions will be held at the Beach Rotana Squash Courts from May 18 onwards.
Organised by the Abu Dhabi Squash Racquet Association (ADSRA), the annual tournament used to be played as the Abu Dhabi Open.
Mabrouk Al Nahdy, chairman of ADSRA said: "We are expecting around 100 entries for the event which concludes on June 4."
ADSRA has been running the Abu Dhabi League for two decades and have also been staging the AD Open and the Ramadan Cup tournaments.

"We at ADSRA are pleased to be hosting the tournament for the second time at the Beach Rotana and wish to thank them for their support," the ADSRA chairman said.
The tournament will see action in the the following categories: super division, divisions 1, 2 and 3, the junior Under 15 and veterans over 45.
Mubarak Mohsin, Aamir Khan and Dubai's Asif Khan, the winner of the Haya Open, and Alex Preston, are some of the top players who will see action.
