High stakes for Pick 7 competition
A single winner of the Pick 7 competition at the second meeting of the Dubai International Racing Carnival on January 24, could walk away with Dh35,000.
Dubai: A single winner of the Pick 7 competition at the second meeting of the Dubai International Racing Carnival on January 24, could walk away with Dh35,000.
Under the revamped Pick 7 competition - which challenges players to pick winners of seven races at Nad Al Sheba - an extra Dh15,000 has rolled over after a blank was drawn at last week's meeting. The pools for Thursday's Pick 7 are: Winners Pool Dh Seven 35,000; Six 12,000; Five 8,000; Four 5,000.
Rollovers
The Tricast competition - which requires players to select the first three placegetters in the official order of finish for two consecutive races - will also feature rollovers.
There is Dh26,700 on offer for the three tricasts: the Early (races 2+3), the Middle (races 4+5) and the Late (races 6+7). The Early Tricast features a pool of Dh6,700 as two winning tickets were unclaimed last week. The Middle and Late were not won, meaning the pool doubles to Dh10,000.
