Dubai: The two player team of Shabir Yakub (12) and Haiyan Mujarkech (24) shot a nett 63.2 to win the Toyota Golf Day at Arabian Ranches Golf Club on Friday.

Runners-up were the team of Graham Wood (8) and Allan Kelly (18) also with a nett 63.2 with nines of 34 and 37 in an overall 1 under par gross 71.

Notable pairs also in the prizes included third placed Rob Garner (4) and Peter Hedley (8) on a remarkable back nine countback from Fadel Ghaddar (13) and Louis-Michel Doyon (9) on 63.4 - almost unique in a Scramble format with this 30 per cent handicap allowance.
