Abu Dhabi: Tiger Woods, the former world number one iconic golfer, hopes to carry over his success of the end of 2011 into this week's Abu Dhabi Golf Championship.
Woods ended 2011 with his first victory in two years at the Chevron World Challenge and said at a packed press conference that he is looking to pick more than that one win this year.
His Chevron victory moved him up to 25th on the world rankings after he fell out of the top 50 for a brief period last year.
Woods opens his season in Abu Dhabi for the first time and faces a star-studded lineup that includes US Open champion Rory McIlroy, top-ranked Luke Donald and defending champion Martin Kaymer.
