Dubai: Adhip Shankar kept his cool in the Dubai heat to win the BMW Monthly Medal at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club.

Two consistent nines and only one bad hole all day were just enough to ensure victory by one shot from his playing partner Vikram Arora who shot 72 to win the men's Division B competition.

Ashok Kumar did well to post a nett 72 and finish the runner up in the Men's A Division, while George Varghese surprised many, including himself, by clinching second place in the Men's B Division with nett 73.

Nahsa Sarkari continued her dominance in the Ladies' Division, with her nett 69 securing first place by a clear two shots.

Serifa D'souza finished second on nett 71, courtesy of a superb back nine from Shloka Desai.
