A full field of 91 players will tee off in a 1 pm shotgun start today in the February Rivoli Monthly Medal at Arabian Ranches Golf Club.

Dubai: A full field of 91 players will tee off in a 1 pm shotgun start today in the February Rivoli Monthly Medal at Arabian Ranches Golf Club.

The Medal is played for men from the Blue Tee yardage and for ladies from the Red Tee yardage and has been deemed a Qualifier for Handicap Purposes.

Notables in the field include lowest handicapper in the published draw Tony Dougherty (4) and Adele McKelvey (4) as well as likely contenders Tim Sephton (5), Eddie Ramage (5), Chris Picken (5), Cedric Fevre (5), Keith Evans (5), Darren Cherry (5) and Simon McDonald (5) as well as in form players Detlef Proeschold (7), Colin Graham (9) and Bob Curtis (18).

Impressed

Elliott Gray commented at the draw announcement, "We are impressed with the quality and quantity of the field for this month's Rivoli Monthly Medal considering other conflicting golf events taking place this weekend. We have an especially strong Ladies Division of 24 players this month lead by Adele McKelvey."
