Junior championships at the Ranches on Saturday

Arabian Ranches Golf Club has published a 78 player strong draw for the 2008 Arabian Ranches Junior Golf Championship supported by US Kids Golf to be held on Saturday March 29 with a 1.30 pm shotgun start.

Dubai: Arabian Ranches Golf Club has published a 78 player strong draw for the 2008 Arabian Ranches Junior Golf Championship supported by US Kids Golf to be held on Saturday March 29 with a 1.30 pm shotgun start.

The tournament has attracted three overseas entrants - Charles Davies from England and Sam Hobday and Stewart Hutchinson both travelling from Riffa in Bahrain specifically for the tournament. The local UAE based favourite will be Matthew Turner (EGC) now boasting a +1 handicap.

In addition to the tournament proper there is also a US Kids Skills Challenge for those who have not yet attained the Playing Certificate level.

The Aged Categories for these Skills Challenges are as follows; aged 8 and below, aged 9 - 13 and aged 14 - 17. The Skills Challenge will be held 3 pm - 5 pm.
