Dubai: Some of the finest amateurs of the region, including various CEOs and decision makers, will line up for the 2008 edition of Dulsco Classic, one of the most anticipated corporate days in the UAE golfing calendar, at The Montgomerie, Dubai, on February 9.

As has been the case in all previous four Dulsco Classics, the response for the event has been overwhelming and close to 90 players are expected to participate this year.

Dulsco have worked out an interesting format for the tournament this year - making it both an individual and team event. While each player competes for individual honours - to be played as individual stableford with three-fourth handicap, the team event will be a team of four alliance, with two best scores on each holes counting towards the total.

While there are prizes for the top three players in the individual event and the top three teams in the team event, Dulsco have plans to spice up the proceedings by offering several spot prizes.

These include nearest-to-the-pin prizes on the sixth, eighth and 17th holes, and longest drive prizes on the ninth, 12th and 18th holes.
