Dubai: The seventh qualifier of The Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge 2008 will be played for the first time at The Els Club in Dubai Sports City today.

This will be the last qualifier held in the UAE before the final in December. The Troon-managed golf course will see local companies participating in the event.

Ayman Mattar, regional marketing manager for Xerox Middle East, said: "We are excited about the Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge arriving at The Els Club. I know that it will be the first time playing for some of our participants and I'm glad that Xerox can be part of supplying a first-class golf experience.

Six qualifiers have been played so far in the 11th Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge. The winners will move on to the final at Abu Dhabi Golf Club in December, where the overall winners will play in the 2009 Abu Dhabi Golf Championship Pro-Am.
