An eagle at a par four helped Derek Lynch and Garry Henry win the Lexus Golf Day at Arabian Ranches Golf Club on Friday.
Dubai: An eagle at a par four helped Derek Lynch and Garry Henry win the Lexus Golf Day at Arabian Ranches Golf Club on Friday.
The pair returned a Betterball of Partners Stableford score of 47 points, which was four points clear of second.
Each player in the 86 player field, which was 43 two-player teams, received a handicap allowance over the Ian Baker-Finch designed course.
Henry and Lynch's card consisted of three birdies, an eagle two at the 15th from Lynch as well as eight gross pars from Henry, who reduced his handicap by two shots on general play observations.
Rob Garner and Bruce Penn were runners up in the Men's Division with 43 points.
Their highlights were three birdies and an eagle from Garner at the par five third.
Elliott Gray said: "We have experienced some unbelievable scoring.
Credit must be given to Darren Smith, our golf course manager, who has the course in superb condition."
In the Ladies and Mixed Division, the best round and tournament winners were Jo and Henk Schoeman with 41 points.
