Abu Dhabi Golf Club won away from home at The Montgomerie, Dubai by 4-0 in Match Day 10 of the 2007-08 Invitational Scratch Golf League.

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Golf Club won away from home at The Montgomerie, Dubai by 4-0 in Match Day 10 of the 2007-08 Invitational Scratch Golf League.

Abu Dhabi Golf Club earned a maximum six points, including a two-point win bonus to accumulate a season total of 12 points in League B, moving them into top spot after two of their three matches.

Highlights included two one-up victories from pairings one and two and 3&2 and 5&4 victories from pairings three and four.

With only one match remaining between Arabian Ranches Golf Club and Abu Dhabi Golf Club in League B, ARGC need to win by at least four points to progress alongside the already-crowned League B winners Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

If ARGC win by 2&1, they will earn four League points and create an unprecedented three-way second-placed tie.

This last crucial fixture in League B will be held on Friday with a shotgun start at Arabian Ranches Golf Club.

Following all 12 first-round matches, the top two teams from both League A and League B will go forward semifinals.

(TMD names first); Paul Moir and Piers Gorman lost to Alex Charawani and Hany Abdelnour 1 hole; Vipen Sethi and Keith Stacey lost to Alastair Crombie and Brian Mullen 1 hole; Bo Van Wijk and Paul Pitman lost to Sanjeev Boghoda and Eric Hesson 3 & 2; Malcolm Gray & Dan Anderson lost to Mike Massie and Kevin Ballinger 5 & 4.
