Dubai: St. Anthony's Pernem secured a 3-2 win against St. Estevam to qualify for the knock-out stage of the All Goa inter-village soccer tournament played at the Iranian Club ground.

Sandy Fernandes gave St. Anthony's a first minute lead after Benjamin Feliciano had handled outside the area.

But Jose Fernandes restored parity within a few minutes as his well-struck effort sailed into the roof of the net.

Wilfred Fernandes gave St. Estevam the lead in the eighth minute of the second half off a solo effort.

But man of the match Darryl Rasquinha came right back with an equaliser for St. Anthony's following a pass from Godfrey Gonsalves.

St. Anthony's got the match-winner in the dying minutes after Renato came in as a substitute and found the net.

In the second match, Aldona United confirmed their place in the quarterfinals with a 2-0 win against Raia.

Though Godfrey, Andrew and Alex combined well for Aldona, they failed to get off the mark.

Both goals came in the final 10 minutes as Johnny Dias opened the scoring and then Lloyd Fernandes put the issue beyond doubt three minutes later.
