Egypt to play Mali in Dubai

The Egyptians are expected to arrive in Dubai on January 1 and play against Mali on January 4 before leaving for Angola where the 2010 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled to be held

Abu Dhabi: Egypt, the Africa Cup of Nations winners in 2006 and 2008, will complete their final preparation for the 2010 edition here in the UAE as they bid to become the first team to win it on three successive occasions.

The Egyptians are expected to arrive in Dubai on January 1 and play against Mali on January 4 before leaving for Angola where the 2010 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled to be held.

Hosni Abd Rabbo, one of Egypt's top midfielders, plays in the UAE league with Al Ahli and the match between Egypt and Mali will be held at the Al Ahli Club.
