Congratulations pour in for historic win
President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received telephone calls from King Hamad Bin Eissa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and Shaikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, congratulating him on UAE's victory in the Gulf Cup.
Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received telephone calls from King Hamad Bin Eissa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and Shaikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, congratulating him on UAE's victory in the Gulf Cup.
There were also congratulatory cables from His Highness Shaikh Saqr Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
Shaikh Saqr also sent a similar cable to His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
His Highness Shaikh Rashid Bin Ahmad Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm al Quwain, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Umm Al Quwain Deputy Ruler and Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sharjah Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler, have also sent congratulatory cables to Shaikh Khalifa and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid.
They sent similar cables to General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee for the Gulf Cup.
Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs, also congratulated Shaikh Khalifa and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid on the win.
