Dubai: Al Nasr senior soccer team will be looking to score their first win at home when they host Ajman in the professional league eighth week tomorrow at the Al Maktoum stadium.

Al Nasr has failed to win at home since the start of the league in September. They lost to Al Ahli 4-2, to Sharjah 3-2 and drew with Al Ain 2-2. They won three away matches, beating Al Shaab 2-1, Al Shabab 3-1 and Al Dhafra 4-1.

They lost only once in an away match, in their worst defeat to bottom ranking club Al Khaleej 5-2 in Khor Fakkan.

Supporters unhappy

Al Nasr supporters were unhappy last week when Al Khaleej defeated them for the second time in six days. The second defeat was in the President's cup second round, Al Khaleej beat Al Nasr 3-2 to throw them off the quarterfinals.

Al Nasr are now fifth on the table with ten points from seven matches, they won three, drew once and lost three matches.

The Al Nasr defence line is one of the weakest defences in the league if not the weakest, they conceded 17 goals in seven matches with an average of more than two goals a match.

The Al Nasr supporters were not satisfied with Iranian defender Mohammad Nasrati's performance. He could not stop the flow of goals entering the Al Nasr net. Eisa Juma the team manager said that he will be changed in January.

"When the winter window opens next month, we will sign with a new defender to replace Nasrati and a new striker or attacking midfielder instead of Redha Enayati who was injured and need long time to recover," said Juma.

Reserves

The Al Nasr coach Luka Bonacic demoted three new players to the reserve team despite the fact the team needed them last week due to injuries and player suspensions.

The players were: Adil Nasib, Yousuf Abdul Aziz and Mohammad Ennazi.

This made the club board and the Al Nasr supporters unhappy with his decision. The Croatian coach will have to use these new players if the team suffers any more losses.
