Al Dhafra and ADHFC stay on top

Al Dhafra Private School and Abu Dhabi Health & Fitness Club (ADHFC) maintained their unbeaten record in the Abu Dhabi Sports Council's Under-13 football tournament being played at the ADHFC grounds.

Abu Dhabi: Al Dhafra Private School and Abu Dhabi Health & Fitness Club (ADHFC) maintained their unbeaten record in the Abu Dhabi Sports Council's Under-13 football tournament being played at the ADHFC grounds.

Al Dhafra top Group B with six points from two wins while ADHFC also have six points from two matches and top Group A in the 8-team tournament being held under the patronage of Shaikh Zayed Bin Hazza Al Nahyan, with support from Sorouh Real Estate.

Five-goal blitz

A hat-trick by Ahmad Jamal set the pace for Al Dhafra's 4-0 win over Al Worood Private Academy. Ali Hassan scored the other goal as Ahmad Jamal picked up the MVP for his hat-trick.

In another Group B encounter, last week's winners French School lost 7-2 to Football for All team. A five-goal blitz by Mohammad Nabeel earned him the MVP of the match while Eric McNeal got the other two goals for the winners.

Meanwhile, ADHFC scored another big win, this time a 12-2 margin over Al Raha International School.
