10th title marks club's first local league success in eight years
Dubai: There will be a party atmosphere at Al Ain tonight when the champions receive the Etisalat Pro-League trophy after their match with Ajman.
Cosmin Olaroiu's side have won the league for the tenth time, but their title triumph is the first in eight years.
In tonight's other match, 2009 league champions Al Ahli head to Al Wasl in high spirits following their Etisalat Cup victory 5-3 on penalties over Al Shabab on Monday night.
Diego Maradona's men are also in buoyant spirits ahead of the visit of Quique Sanchez Flores' team following their 3-0 win in the first leg of their GCC Champions League semi-final with Qatar's Al Khor on Wednesday.
In tomorrow's four matches, the most eagerly-anticipated clash is third-placed Al Shabab's home game against Al Nasr, who lead them in the table.
Al Shabab will have to have their shooting boots on as they need to win by five clear goals to beat their rivals to the runners-up spot in the table.
Relegation
Second-from-bottom Emirates need an even greater miracle if they are to avoid likely relegation as they need the side above them, Dubai, to lose heavily at Al Jazira.
They in turn would need to thrash Al Wahda at home to make up their vastly inferior goal difference on Dubai.
