Al Ain eager to sign Brazil's top scorer

Dubai: Al Ain are reportedly on the hunt for Elias Ribiero De Oliviera, joint top goalscorer of Brazil's Serie A at Atletico Goianiense, with nine goals.

"He is the talk of Brazil at the moment with several big clubs and Al Ain looks closest to getting him," said a source close to the negotiations. Also reported to be in the hunt for the striker are Atletico Madrid, Benfica, Palmeiras and Flamengo.

"He's been the best player in every game so far. They were at the bottom of the table and it's amazing what he's done there," the source said.
