Dubai: Quique Sanchez Flores takes charge of his first Al Ahli game against Al Nasr in the sixth round of Etisalat Cup group matches at Rashid Stadium tonight from 8pm.
Present for last week's 3-2 away win against Al Nasr but watching from the stands, this will be the first time Flores sits on the bench since taking over from Ivan Hasek.
Next to him in the opposing dug-out, Walter Zenga will be trying very hard to keep his seat, as pressure mounts on the Italian with just two wins from nine.
Elsewhere today, Ajman host defending Etisalat Cup champions and current Group B leaders Al Shabab and Dubai Club welcome Al Wahda, both games starting at 4.45pm.
Strugglers
Tomorrow sees struggling Emirates, with six losses from nine league and cup outings, take on Al Jazira, the current Group A leaders and last year's league and Presidents Cup champions, from 4.40pm.
Sharjah, without a win in the cup, are at home to leaderless Bani Yas at 4.45pm and Diego Maradona's Al Wasl travel to Al Ain for an 8pm kick-off.
- Friday: Ajman v Al Shabab 4.45pm; Dubai v Al Wahda 4.45pm; Al Ahli v Al Nasr 8.00pm.
- Saturday: Emirates v Al Jazira 4.40pm; Sharjah v Bani Yas 4.45pm; Al Ain v Al Wasl 8.00pm.
