Dubai: Emirates club player Adil Haboush was the first Emirati player to score a goal for the club in the league so far. Adil scored the first goal against Al Shaab in the 3-3 draw last Sunday.
During the last 12 league matches, Iranians Rasoul Khatibi, Redha Enayati and Mehdi Rajab Zadeh scored all the 17 goals for Emirates club in the league matches.
However, after Haboush scored, the Iranians recaptured their scoring touch. Khatibi and Enayati scored the second and third goals for Emirates to finish the match 3-3 after they were trailing 3-1.
Haboush claimed he was happy to score the first goal as an Emirati player for the club, but he said that he was sad the match ended in a 3-3 draw.
He said the errors of the referee and his assistants cost them a win, especially as they were playing at home.
