Jaipur: Rajasthan Royals captain Shane Warne on Tuesday said his inexperienced side's comfortable victory over a star-studded Kings XI Punjab on Monday night was all the more heartening that they did it without some class players who are joining the team soon.

"We really are a young side and were disappointed by the loss in Delhi. We had wanted to prove we can beat any side. So, I am really happy to play like this and win against a strong side," Warne after his team's six-wicket victory over Kings XI Punjab.

"For the last seven days, we have been trying to gel among ourselves and I think it is going to get better from now on," Warne said.

"Believe me, with the kind of talent Jadeja and Dinesh Salunkhe have shown, they are going to be superstars in the near future," the Australian spin legend said.

"We had spotted Jadeja right from the beginning and he has shown his mettle in the first two matches," Warne added.
