Dubai: Young Zeeshan produced a superb all-round performance to guide UAE National Cricket Team to a tense one-wicket victory over Al Barakah in the 21st Sharjah Ramadan Twenty20 tournament for the Rufi Cup at the Sharjah stadium on Sunday night.

The talented all-round snared three wickets for just nine runs and then hammered a blistering 53 off 20 to seal a thrilling victory for his side with one ball to spare.

In another match, Al Hamad rode on a brilliant spell of four for 14 by Shehzad to beat Seven Seas Strikers by 37 runs.

In the Ajman Trucape Kibsons Twenty20 Ramadan tournament Pak Emirates down XI on Top team by nine wickets. Restricting IX on Top to 143 runs, Pak Emirates won in just 15.5 overs. Masood top scored with 72 while Khurram chipped in with 40.

Emirates Islamic Bank too scored a comfortable seven wicket win over AEN Sports.

In the Dulsco Ramadan tournament Ambey Parvatkar's all round performance helped hosts Dulsco Sports Club collect full points in their first match of the tournament being played at Zabeel Park Cricket Grounds.

Dulsco SC defeated Emrill Services by five wickets while ETA Ascon recorded their second victory trouncing Arowana Consulting by eight wickets.

The tournament is being organised by Dulsco Sports Club in association with the Dubai Municipality and played under the auspices of the Dubai Cricket Council. Parvatkar, Goa's Ranji player, first claimed three wickets for just six runs and bowled a maiden over in his allotted four overs. Later he stroked a valuable 32 from 24 deliveries to help the hosts reach the 117 victory target set by Emrill in 17 overs.

Swapnil was the top scorer for Dulsco with a breezy 40 made with the help of four towering sixes and two fours after facing 16 deliveries. He was bowled by Azhar and was the third Dulsco wicket to fall. Shams contributed 16. Emrill's Kenneth picked up two wickets for 23 runs.

Earlier Emrill batted first and struggled to put on 116 for the loss of eight wickets with 22 runs coming in the way of extras. Opener Saman scored 36 as Emrill's first wicket fell at 14.

Thereafter wickets fell at regular intervals and Dulsco bowlers pinned the rival batsmen who found it difficult to score runs. With the top order falling prey to the intelligent bowling by Dulsco, it was left for Kenneth to add some respectability to Emrill's innings.
