Spectator ejected after spat with Harbhajan
Furious Indian spinner points out alleged culprit to authorities
The man was taken away by police after a furious Harbhajan stormed down the boundary at tea on the third day to point him out to authorities.
The two had been seen gesticulating to each other shortly before Harbhajan took two wickets during the afternoon session of the second Test between England and India. The man had allegedly made comments about the Indian bowler’s lack of form.
The altercation happened among frenetic scenes, with Harbhajan at one point threatening to march into the crowd to point out the spectator when an initial search proved fruitless.
