Shaikh Rashid School power home to easy victory

Shaikh Rashid School propelled by some good bowling from medium pacer Moazim Hussain progressed further into the knock-out stage of the Green Valley Under-15 inter school cricket tournament beating Emirates English Speaking School by 6 wickets.

Dubai: Shaikh Rashid School propelled by some good bowling from medium pacer Moazim Hussain progressed further into the knock-out stage of the Green Valley Under-15 inter school cricket tournament beating Emirates English Speaking School by 6 wickets.

Emirates English Speaking were put in to bat and made 102 runs as medium pacer Moazim struck three deadly blows in one over to throw their innings into total disarray.

Amir Ashraf and Aamir Ali picked up five wickets between themselves.

Shaikh Rashid school rattled off the target as their openers Waleed Hanif 26 and Aamir Ali 23 gave them a flying start.

Skipper Amjad Khan Afridi with a quick 27 completed the formalities.
