Seven Seas Shipchandlers beat Anchor Marine to lift the UAE National Day 7-A-Side Cricket festival. Diamond LLC sponsored the festive event which was played at the Seven Seas grounds.

Dubai: Seven Seas Shipchandlers beat Anchor Marine to lift the UAE National Day 7-A-Side Cricket festival. Diamond LLC sponsored the festive event which was played at the Seven Seas grounds. The event was organised by Tariq Butt of Seven Seas Sports Club and was also supported by Freddy Sidhwa of Seven Seas. Anchor Marine beat Belhasa Driving Institute by 4 wickets in the first semifinal.

Batting first, Belhasa scored 52 for 3 in 5 overs (Tariq Iqbal 32 not out; Irfan Dar 2/9).

Chasing, Anchor Marine scored 54 for 1 in 4 overs. (Ayub 23, Irfan Dar 18; Tariq Iqbal 1/9)

In the second semifinal, Seven Seas beat Al Futtaim by 4 wickets. Al Futtaim batting first made 52 all out in 4.5 overs. (Saeed 27, Ajmal 13; Freddy Sidhwa 2/10, Qadar 4/2).

Seven Seas chasing made 54 for 1 in 3.4 overs. (Tariq 24, Javed 15 not out; Khuram 1/7)

In the final, Seven Seas beat Anchor Marine by 13 runs. Seven Seas batting first made 70 for 0 in 5 overs. (Asif 25 not out, Zeeshan 21 not out) Chasing Anchor Marine made 57 for 5 in 5 overs. (Kaleem 26, Ayub 10; Freddy Sidhwa 2/10) Man of the Match in the final went to Zeeshan of Seven Seas.

The Best Batsman award went to Ayub of Seven Seas

The Best Bowler was Qadar of Seven Seas.

The Man of the Tournament was Tariq Iqbal of Belhasa Driving Institute.
