Abu Dhabi: Seven Seas followed NMC into the last eight from their group while United Bank Limited kept their chances alive in the second NMC Ramadan Twenty20 Cup cricket tournament.

Seven Seas defeated Abu Dhabi Gymkhana by five wickets and will accompany defending champions NMC into the knockout quarterfinals. The two meet to decide the group leadership in the last match of the league stage next Wednesday.

In another group match, United Bank Limited kept their slim hopes alive of a last eight berth with a 24-run win over ECB.

With Yogi Group emerging as the favourite to top their group, UBL along with ECB and Nissan Al Masaood will battle it out for the second spot.
