Skipper Sidhwa wins Man-of-the-Match award after conceding just three runs in crucial over
Dubai: Seven Seas Shipchandlers defeated Mega Carpets to lift the UAE National Day Seven-A-Side Cricket Cup at the Seven Seas cricket ground.
It was a close match, with Seven Seas scoring 64 for 4 wickets in their allotted five overs. Mohsin, Waqas and Zubair pitched in after early losses.
Chasing the total, Mega Carpet got off to a bad start and never recovered, with star batsman Iqbal getting bowled off the first ball of the match, thanks to an unplayable delivery from skipper Freddy Sidhwa.

Sidhwa won the man of the match award for conceding just three runs in the crucial over. Carpets were restricted to 56 for 3.
Meanwhile, a seven-a-side cricket festival will be held on the second day of Eid Al Adha on December 9 at the Seven Seas ground.
