Rain first stopped play after the hosts, put in to bat, reached 82 for one from 14 overs. The match was reduced to 44 overs per side after it was decided to cut the break between innings to 10 minutes and extend play by one hour.
England are looking to reverse trend after going 3-0 down in the seven-match series.
