Pagrani bowls Yogi Group into final

Dubai: Yogi Group sailed into the final of the Dulsco Open Ramadan Cricket Tournament being played at Zabeel Park Cricket Grounds Dubai.

In the semifinal, Yogi Group trounced Dubai Royals CC by 93 runs to earn the right to meet Zain Cricket Club in the final today.

Electing to bat first, Yogi Group piled up 208 for 8 and later bowled out their rivals for 115 with skipper Shiva Pagrani claiming four wickets. Azhar was the top scorer for the winners with 49 runs made from 21 balls and hit six sixes and one four.

Chasing the target, Dubai Royals lost wickets regularly with Pagrani doing the most damage. He bagged four wickets for 28 runs. Only four Dubai Royals batsmen reached double figures. Opener J. Amjad top scored with 33.

Yogi Group bt Dubai Royals CC by 93 runs. Yogi Group 208 for 8 (Azhar 49, Jayprakash Shetty 32, Prabadhan 29, Avdhoot 26, Tarif 2 for 13, Noor 2 for 31). Dubai Royals CC 115 in 15.5 overs (J. Amjad 33, Sohail 28, Shiva Pagrani 4 for 28, Ajmal 2 for 24).

Al Manal Development lost to Zain CC by 7 wickets. Al Manal Development 140 in 19.1 overs (Shahid 26, Tariq 3 for 17, Kamran 3 for 20). Zain CC 141 for 3 in 14.2 overs (Hassan Khan 50, Asif 35, Khurram 27, Umer 2 for 33).
