A brilliant unbeaten 114 by opener Sanath Jayasuriya helped Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by nine wickets in an Indian Premier League (IPL) Twenty20 match at the Wankhede Stadium here Wednesday night.

Mumbai: A brilliant unbeaten 114 by opener Sanath Jayasuriya helped Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by nine wickets in an Indian Premier League (IPL) Twenty20 match at the Wankhede Stadium here Wednesday night.

Chasing a target of 157, Mumbai Indians made 158 in 13.5 overs after losing the wicket of captain Sachin Tendulkar (12). Robin Uthappa remained unbeaten on 16.
