Khatri and Febis secure opening wins at Dulsco

Khatri Club and Febis Computers earned full points in the opening matches of the Dulsco Open Cricket Tournament being played at the Zabeel Park grounds.

Dubai: Khatri Club and Febis Computers earned full points in the opening matches of the Dulsco Open Cricket Tournament being played at the Zabeel Park grounds.

Khatri got the better of BMTS by five wickets and Febis Computers beat Jashanmal National Company by three wickets.

Salman Khan played a stellar role for Khatri as he first bagged two wickets and later rattled 34 runs.

In the other match Asanka of Jashanmal was named man of the match for his four wicket spell but ended up on the losing side, after Febis surpassed Jashanmal's 93-run total in just 16.4 overs. Manish (21) and Vinod (17) were the main scorers.

Febis Computers beat Jashanmal National Company by three wickets. Jashanmal 93 in 15.3 overs (Darshan 33; Wasim 2 for 14, Pradeep 2 for 16, Madhu 2 for 21). Febis Computers 67 for 7 in 16.4 overs (Manish 21; Asanka 4 for 22) Man of the match: Asanka.
