BCCI announces drinks giant as title-sponsor of its flagship competition for five years from next season

The working committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), which met in Mumbai, went with the drinks giant as they were the highest bidders among a handful of leading Indian corporate giants.
The IPL VI next year will be a significant one as Pakistan cricketers are also likely to be part of the auction for the first time since the inaugural edition in 2008.
